Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval and receipt of the Standard Agreement with City of Coupland for off-duty contracting of County Sheriff Deputies to be effective May 20, 2025.
Background
This is a new agreement for City of Coupland. This agreement will give permission for City of Coupland to contract County Sheriff Deputies in a private capacity and the County to invoice that City for deputies' vehicle usage. The term of this agreement shall begin on May 20, 2025 and will have two additional one year automatic renewals on October 1, 2025 and October 1, 2026. The agreement will be revisited with proper approvals from the Commissioners Court for October 1 2027 (FY'28).
