The QAQI Evaluator position is vacant with a budgeted salary of $66,815.04.  Approving a policy exception to move salary surplus funding of $189.12 would allow the promotion of an internal candidate without a loss in pay. The department has the funding in their salary budget and would move a salary surplus of $189.12 from PCN 0132 to PCN 1894.  The only exception is being outside the approved timeline to make changes. Funding will be utilized for the promotional process and promotions being considered are all within policy. Details are attached, and no additional funding is needed.
