Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Amendment No. 1. to Contract #2025115, originally approved on January 28, 2025, under Agenda Item #63, to include Project Change Request 002 (PR-2340492) to provide additional hardware necessary for physical network segmentation and updates to the fiber layout design, increasing the original contract amount of $438,265.00 by $80,140.00 to the new total of $518,405.00 and authorizing the execution of the amendment.

Background

Amendment No. 1 to Contract #2025115 with Dell Technologies includes Project Change Request 002 (PR-2340492). This change adds $80,140.00 in hardware and fiber layout updates needed for physical network segmentation. These improvements are critical to enhancing system performance. These changes are critical to improving the performance, security, and reliability of the Wi-Fi infrastructure at both the Expo Center and the City of Taylor ball fields. The project is expected to be completed by September 30, 2025. The vendor, Dell Computer Corp., is a publicly traded company, so Form 1295 is not required. No funding source due to Grant, 501A.
