Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the Commercial Contract for Improved Property relating to the purchase of the real property and improvements located at 600 Forest Street, Georgetown, Texas (S3667 -- City of Georgetown, Lot 1,2 (N/PT), 0.275 acres), which said contract was assigned Williamson County, Texas pursuant to a Commercial Contract Assignment of Buyer’s Interest between Novert A. Morales & Wendy Morales, as Sellers, Scott Stribling, as Assignor, and Wiliamson County, Texas, as Assignee/Buyer; and authorize the Williamson County Judge to execute any necessary documents relating to the said contract.

Background

Following the assignment of the Commercial Contract for Improved Property to Williamson County for the purchase of the real property and improvements located at 600 Forest Street, Georgetown, Texas (S3667 -- City of Georgetown, Lot 1,2 (N/PT), 0.275 acres), the County extended the feasibility period under the contract providing the county with the option to terminate the contract on or before 11:59 pm on September 4, 2025.  If the county does not terminate the contract, the closing date will be on or before 15 days after the expiration of the feasibility period, which would be September 19, 2025.
