Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the purchase and installation of a new Vulcan Cooking Equipment with Cook's Direct, Inc. for the Williamson County Jail located at 306 W. 4th Street, Georgetown, Texas 78626, in the total amount of $52,992.34, utilizing Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #063022-COK, and authorize the execution of the agreement.

The Williamson County Jail requires replacement of aging kitchen equipment to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant food service operations.  The purchase of the Vulcan VG-40 Gas Tilting Skillet/Braising Pan from Cook's Direct, Inc. will provide a durable, versatile, and high-capacity cooking solution.  This equipment is specifically designed for institutional kitchen environments and will support consistent, safe, and efficient meal production for the inmate population.  Approval of this item will ensure the Jail's kitchen remains fully operational, compliant with food safety standards, and capable of meeting the daily meal service requirements of the facility.  Funding for this purchase is 01.0100.0570.005003 for FY26.  Origination #4189.  Department's Point of Contact is Jeff Pearson.
