Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an agreement with Bluebonnet Trails Community MHMR Center, DBA Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS) to provide dedicated qualified mental health professionals (QMHP's) in 911 Dispatch.

Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP's) are embedded in the Williamson County 911 Communications Center to connect with callers at the moment of crisis to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation and treatment coordination. The purpose of the program is to provide diversion for the deployment of law enforcement and other emergency services when not needed, and connection/referral to appropriate care.  Embedded QMHP's can also help with law officer safety during mental health crisis calls.
