Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approval of Agreement #2026-134, with FreeIt Data Solutions for the purchase of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Battery Backup Equipment for the New Administration Building located at 1848 Texas Trail, Georgetown, TX 78626, in the amount of $295,218.62, pursuant to DIR Cooperative Contract #DIR-CPO-5378, and authorizing the execution of the Agreement.
Public Background
The Information Services Department is requesting approval for the purchase of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) battery backup equipment to support network infrastructure located in the new Administration Building located at 1848 Texas Trail, Georgetown, TX 78626. The UPS equipment will provide power protection and battery back for network equipment housed in the seven different IT rooms, ensuring continuity of operations and protection from power interruptions.
