Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request for the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to receive a $10,000 grant to aid in adoption events from the ASPCA.
Public Background
Nearly 6 million animals entered U.S. shelters in 2025. Launching in August and continuing through October, The Rescue Effect is the ASPCA’s national campaign dedicated to helping organizations like yours increase adoptions and fosters and engage the public. It’s a ripple: When we help one animal, we help many. The ASPCA is investing $10,000 to support the preparation, fees, and promotion of adoption events at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.
