Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Interlocal Agreement #2027-018, between Williamson County and Department of Public Safety (DPS) for Crime Laboratory Services, for a four (4) year term ending on September 30, 2030, with the not-to-not-exceed amount of $1,644,552.60, and authorizing the execution of the agreement (Funding source: 01.0100.0560.004100 beginning FY27).
Public Background
This agreement continues the relationship in which DPS provides forensic laboratory testing for Williamson County. Under the contract, DPS will analyze controlled substances, marijuana, and blood alcohol evidence submitted by County law enforcement agencies. FY27 $405,140.05, FY28 $413,205.77, FY29 $413,001.02 and FY30 $413,205.77.
