Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Agreement between Williamson County and Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company – Voluntary Employee Benefit Pet Insurance to allow Nationwide to continue offering Pet Insurance to Williamson County employees with a zero-dollar ($0) cost to Williamson County and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Public Background
The approval of Contract #2027-011 with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company will provide voluntary employee benefit pet insurance. This benefit is paid by Williamson County employees that voluntarily enroll in this benefit for the coverage of Pet Insurance and is deducted through payroll. Payroll deductions are then sent to Nationwide for those that enroll in this coverage. Employees may make changes to coverage at any time.
