Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the annual request to exempt from competitive bidding/proposal requirements for Fleet Vehicle and Equipment Repairs, pursuant to Tex/Loc. Gov't Code Section 262.024(11) ("Vehicle and Equipment Repairs") (i.e. those not covered by insurance coverage and that are paid for by County Funds) for FY26/27 based on criteria and definitions provided by the Williamson County Purchasing Agent.
Public Background
Section 262.024.(a)(11) of the Texas Local Government Code provides an exemption from normal bidding requirements for “Vehicle and Equipment Repairs”.
