Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to accept a grant in the amount of $10,000 from the Georgetown Health Foundation for support of the Williamson County EMS Community Health Program.
Public Background
The court approved under Agenda Item #27 on August 11, 2026 for EMS to submit application for this grant. The grant will support the Williamson County EMS Community Health Program by enhancing staff education in fall prevention, chronic disease management, and community collaboration, while assisting with implementation of a new data management platform to improve outcome tracking and reporting. This program serves vulnerable populations, including older adults and individuals with disabilities, within the Georgetown Health Foundation Service area. The grant requires no County match.
