BE IT REMEMBERED that at 12:11 P.M. on TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2019, a REGULAR SESSION of the Commissioners' Court of Williamson County, Texas, was held with the following being present, to-wit:

Review and approval of minutes.

Motion: To approve the Minutes of the December 18, 2018 meeting.

Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
First Assistant County Auditor Julie Kiley addressed the Court.

Motion: To authorize the payment of bills totaling $1,724,344.19 from the computer printout, Addendum, Wire Transfer, Quick Check Report, and Electronic Benefit Payments from the proper line items, if found by the County Auditor to be legal expenses as appropriated in the County Budget.

Discuss, consider and take appropriate action approving Official Bonds of newly sworn Elected Officials of Williamson County, Texas.

Motion: To approve the Official Bonds of newly sworn Elected Officials of Williamson County, Texas.

Acknowledge and enter into the official minutes the hiring of employees from newly Elected Officials of Williamson County.

Motion: To acknowledge and enter into the official Minutes the hiring of employees from newly Elected Officials of Williamson County with a correction to positions 0718.001100 from "$57,364.88" to "$58,612.88" and 0714.001100 from "$81,827.76" to "$84,947.76".

REGULAR AGENDA
 
COMMISSIONERS' COURT ADJOURNED TO A PUBLIC HEARING AT 12:15 P.M. ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2019.
 
6.
11:35 a.m. Conduct public hearing relating to requests from various departments to increase the budgeted salary amount for positions noted in the attached list and discuss (1) the reason for the payment in excess of the budgeted amount is being offered to the employee, including the public purpose that will be served by making the excess payment; and (2) the exact amount of the excess payment, the sources of the payment, and the terms for distribution of the payment that effect and maintain the public purpose to be served by making the excess payment.  These increases will be funded using excess salary funds in the current approved budget.
There were no comments.  No action was taken on this item.
 
COMMISSIONERS’ COURT CAME OUT OF THE PUBLIC HEARING AT 12:16 P.M. ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2019.

Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request to increase the budgeted salary amount for various departments and positions noted in the attached list. These increases will be funded using excess salary funds in the current approved budget.

Second by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Cynthia Long 

Motion: To approve an increase to the budgeted salary amount for various departments and positions noted in the attached list to be funded by excess salary funds in the current approved budget.
