Comments from Commissioners.
Judge Bill Gravell, Jr. stated that he was wearing his new lapel pin that he received last week from attending the grand opening of Larkspur Elementary, the 27th elementary in the Leander Independent School District (ISD). 

He said he was honored to attend Grandparents Day at IGO which is the second elementary school in Jarrell opening with 565 new students.  Commissioner Covey stated the school will hold about 800 students. This shows the continued growth in Williamson County
