BUDGET MODIFICATION VOTING SESSION

BE IT REMEMBERED that at 12:51 P.M. on TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2020, a SPECIAL SESSION of the Commissioners Court of Williamson County, Texas, was held with the following being present, to-wit:

Discuss and take appropriate action regarding the Budget for 2020-2021.

Motion: To amend the proposed Budget to add $116,450.00 for 0503 Information Technology Services for Ticket Writers that were not implemented in Fiscal Year 2019-2020 and $13,000.00 for three weeks succession planning in relation to the position for the Senior Director of Information Technology.

Motion: To amend the proposed Budget to increase the 0440 District Attorney's on-call pay from $300.00/week to $600.00/week or $15,600.00 annually.

No vote was taken.

Motion: To amend the proposed Budget by adding $456,264.00 to 0640 Public Assistance to increase the bed count from 12 beds to 14 beds with Bluebonnet Trails Community Services.

Motion: To amend the proposed budget by reducing 0560 Sheriff's Office line 003104 K9 Division in the amount of $2300.00, line 003901 Publications (K9 Handler Subscription) in the amount of $800.00 and line 003900 Memberships (K9 Memberships) in the amount of $1375.00.

Motion: To amend the proposed Budget by removing from 0560 Sheriff's Office 25% of the School Resource Officers positions to coincide with the contract ending on June 30, 2021 in the amount of $244,120.99 and the assets associated with the School Resource Officer's positions in the amount of $623,982.50.

Motion: To amend the proposed Budget by reducing the vacant part-time position from Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 in the amount of $22,805.80 and Professional Services in the amount of $27,100.92 to fund a new full time position for Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 in an amount of $49,906.72.
