Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding the adoption of the 2020 tax rates for Williamson County General Fund and Williamson County Road and Bridge Fund.
Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes addressed the Court.

Motion: To approve the property tax rate be increased by the adoption of a total tax rate of 45.8719 cents per $100 of valuation, which is effectively a 1.46 percent increase in the tax rate which includes:
a tax rate of 25.1529 cents per $100 of valuation for the purpose of Maintenance and Operations;
a tax rate of 16.719 cents per $100 of valuation for the purpose of Debt Service; and
a tax rate of 4 cents per $100 of taxable valuation for the purpose of assessing the Road and Bridge Taxes.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the issuance of a county-wide burn ban for a period not to exceed 90 days and to authorize the County Judge the authority to lift the order banning outdoor burning if conditions improve.
The current conditions in Williamson County are: Average KBDI value of 710 (Scale of 1–800) with approximately 50% of the county experiencing KBDI values exceeding 700. After reviewing the burn ban matrix analytics, and current conditions, the current order allowing outdoor burning should expire due to the determination from the Williamson County Fire Marshal that the circumstances present in the unincorporated areas of Williamson County create a public safety hazard that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning.
