Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
First Assistant County Auditor Julie Kiley addressed the Court.  County Judge Bill Gravell, Jr. abstained in regard to payment to invoices for James Construction (Conflict of Interest Affidavit attached).

  • Judge Bill Gravell, Jr. updated the Court on weather issues and damages from the storm and that the National Weather Service will be in the communities to see and/or confirm additional tornadoes; he thanked Williamson County employees for helping each other out during the storms; he clarified procurement laws, in regard to James Construction, that require the lowest and best bidder be awarded the contract; and he gave an update that all Sheriff's Office facilities and vehicles were not damaged during the storm.
