Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
First Assistant County Auditor Julie Kiley addressed the Court.  County Judge Bill Gravell, Jr. abstained in regard to invoices for James Construction (Conflict of Interest Affidavit attached).

Discuss and take appropriate action on authorizing a percentage-based exemption from ad valorem taxes on the appraised value of the residence homestead in the amount of {NOT TO EXCEED 2.25 percent} of the appraised value of the individual’s residence homestead or a minimum of $5,000 as authorized by Section 11.13(n) of the Property Tax Code, to be effective for the tax year beginning on January 1, 2022.
