Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
First Assistant County Auditor Julie Kiley addressed the Court.  County Judge Bill Gravell, Jr. abstained in regard to invoices for James Construction (Conflict of Interest Affidavit attached).

Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on setting a Public Hearing for August 2, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. regarding the setting of an amended rate associated with mandatory provider participation payments that Williamson County may require of all local hospitals for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 in relation to the Williamson County Health Care Participation Program and establish how the revenue derived from those payments may be spent in accordance with Chapter 292B of the Texas Health and Safety Code and the Williamson County Health Care Provider Participation Program Rules and Procedures.

Comments from Commissioners.
County Judge Bill Gravell, Jr. updated the Court on the latest wildfire consuming 90 acres.  He thanked Governor Greg Abbott for his assistance in containing the fire.  County Judge Gravell also thanked Emergency Services District (ESD) 7 in Florence, Williamson County paramedics and Williamson County employees Wes Kukulski and Abby Ramos for their help with containing the fire.

Commissioner Russ Boles stated his thoughts and prayers are with Commissioner Valerie Covey and her family.
