Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
Payroll/Operations Manager Nathan Zinsmeyer addressed the Court.

Motion:To authorize the payment of bills totaling $3,054,886.49 from the computer printout, Addendum, Wire Transfer, Quick Check Report, and Electronic Benefit Payments from the proper line items, if found by the County Auditor to be legal expenses as appropriated in the County Budget.

The term of the original agreement was 36 months, with a 1% increase in year two and year three. The monthly charges going forward are as such: Year Two-$5,527.50; and Year Three-$5,582.78. The reason for the amendment is due to the addition of three new attorney positions for FY24.

County Judge Bill Gravell, Jr. made the following announcement: Pursuant to my authority as County Judge under section 158.033 (Local Government Code), concluding the successfully completed application for civil service, as County Judge I am calling an election for all Sheriff's Deputies Employees and the dates of the election will be Thursday, November 9, from 8am-5pm at our county elections office and Monday, November 13, from 8am-5pm. In concluding that election I will canvass the results and return that back to the petitioners.
