MINUTES OF THE WILLIAMSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING

BE IT REMEMBERED that at 9:33 A.M. on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13, a SPECIAL SESSION of the Commissioners Court of Williamson County, Texas, was held with the following being present, to-wit:

Review and approval of minutes.
 

Motion by: Commissioner Precinct 4 Russ Boles 
Second by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Cynthia Long 

Motion:To approve the minutes of the November 7, 2023 Commissioners Court meeting.

Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
County Auditor Julie Kiley addressed the Court.
 

Motion by: Commissioner Precinct 4 Russ Boles 
Second by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Cynthia Long 

Motion:To authorize the payment of bills totaling $6,208,473.01 from the computer printout, Addendum, Wire Transfer, Quick Check Report, and Electronic Benefit Payments from the proper line items, if found by the County Auditor to be legal expenses as appropriated in the County Budget.

Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a Subrecipient Agreement Between Williamson County and The Williamson County and Cities Health District for the Breast Cancer Identification and Treatment Project; and approve and ratify termination of the Williamson County Social Service Funding Agreement with United Way for Greater Austin dated effective January 11, 2022 relating to the Breast Cancer Identification and Treatment Project with such termination being effective December 11, 2023.
Williamson County and Cities Health District Board Chair Kathy Pierce addressed the Court.
Williamson County and Cities Health District Program Eligibility and Social Services Director Tara Jempty addressed the Court.

Comments from Commissioners.
 

Commissioner Precinct 3 Valerie Covey mentioned that there will be a special session of Commissioners Court on Friday, November 17, 2023 to canvass the election. She also thanked our veterans for their service as well as the many volunteers that made the Field of Honor a success this year.
