Motion:On 55.c.1, to approve the settlement of a property damage claim in the amount of $9,972.87 arising from a vehicle collision occurring on or about September 25, 2024, at or near the intersection of Southwest Bypass and Leander Road in Georgetown, Texas, upon execution of a full release of property damage claims by the claimant, Madisyn Thomas, and authorize the presiding officer of the Commissioners Court to execute settlement documents, if any, approved as to form by General Counsel.

Commissioner Precinct 3 Valerie Covey thanked Judge Gravell for his leadership and service to the county since being sworn in as a Justice of the Peace in 2013. To all the employees, there will be continuity of government. There will be a special called meeting on Friday to talk about the process moving forward.
Commissioner Precinct 2 Cynthia Long wished Judge Gravell the very best in his new role.
Commissioner Precinct 4 Russ Boles commented about the friendship that has formed between him and Judge Gravell over the years, and looked forward to him thriving in his new position.
Commissioner Precinct 1 Terry Cook mentioned that everything Judge Gravell has learned during the last six years will be useful in his new role, and wished him luck.
