Commissioner Precinct 2 Cynthia Long thanked everyone for coming together today, and hopes everyone gained a better understanding of the big picture.
Commissioner Precinct 3 Valerie Covey thanked Commissioner Long for her service to the county and highlighted that this is her last budget year. She mentioned many other major expenses like buildings and systems that will require more funding in the next budget year.
Commissioner Precinct 4 Russ Boles thanked everyone for their input and support.
County Judge Steven Snell thanked everyone for their input, and recognized County Clerk Nancy Rister for her almost three decades of service to the county. He stressed the need to continue planning for the large population growth that is coming, and encouraged the legislature to either fund or eliminate the unfunded mandates.
THE FOREGOING MINUTES had at a Regular Session of Commissioners Court of Williamson County, Texas, having been read are hereby approved this 14th day of April, 2026.
