Recommended Action
Adopt Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) Resolution affirming the County contribution for health insurance for the Probation Association in the amount of $400 per month effective July 1, 2021.

Fiscal Impact
As stated in the August 31, 2021 board action, this increase will result in an estimated $54,000 annual cost and increase the the County's aggregate OPEB liability by 0.4%.
Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Probation Association Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which was approved by the Board on August 31, 2021, increased the amount of the County's contribution to employee health insurance from $266 to $400 per month. A PERS Resolution changing the employer contribution to health insurance for members of the Yolo County Probation Association is required by PERS to implement this change.
