Recommended Action
- Accept as complete the County Energy Services Project performed under Agreement 3535-2020-8015-TRANE Project by TRANE CO.; and
- Authorize the Director of General Services to sign and record the Notice of Completion.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
TRANE CO. completed the County Energy Service Project on December 31, 2020 in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. The Board of Supervisors acceptance of the work, and authorization for the Director of General Services to record the Notice of Completion (see Attachment A), will allow the Project to be closed out and final payment be made to the contractor.
Additional background information on the project can be found in the last document submitted to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors (see attachment B) on February 11, 2020.
This action is to close out the construction portion of this project. Each year over the next three years, the Measurement and Verification process will report on the performance of all the upgrades and whether or not the project achieved the predicted energy savings. If not, the contractor is obligated to reimburse the county for any shortfall.

Competitive Bid Process
The project originated through a Request for Qualifications in 2017. TRANE CO., was selected out of six submissions. All contracts, purchase orders and work authorizations related to this project were secured in compliance with all Department of Financial Services policies and procedures.
