Reason for Recommended Action/Background
Colusa County entered into an agreement with Ralph L Keeley III on September 1, 2013 on behalf of the Colusa County Department of Child Support Services. The lease was extended multiple times on August 9, 2016, March 6, 2018, and December 17, 2019. The current agreement runs through February 28, 2022. Effective January 1, 2021, the Colusa, Sutter and Yolo Counties Departments’ of Child Support Services merged to become the Colusa, Sutter and Yolo Regional Child Support Agency (RCSA). Yolo County is the lead county for the RCSA. As such, contracts for the RCSA will be held by Yolo County. Extension of this lease allows the Colusa office of the RCSA to remain in their current location through June 30, 2026.
The RCSA anticipated the extension to the original lease and has budgeted to cover the increase in costs in the RCSA’s FY21/22 budgets.
