Receive a presentation on the proposed Management Plan for the CalWORKs Housing Support Program (HSP), Davis and Pacifico housing project.

The CalWORKs Housing Support Program funding allocation provides the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) with significant resources to assist housing insecure families in the CalWORKs program. Because of extreme shortages of low-income housing inventory, the program relies on creative partnerships for temporary housing to assist these families in achieving stability and safety while working on their long-term housing goals. This partnership will provide cost-effective and safe housing to vulnerable Yolo County families while providing significant benefit to the City of Davis in occupying buildings that are vacant.  This Management Plan will provide guidance and structure for the population served in these units, community communication, property management and the process for leasing up the units.
 
During this presentation, staff will provide background information, a community engagement plan, facility requirements, staffing requirements, and a construction and lease-up cycle.
