Subject

Recommended Action

  1. Adopt Authorized Position and Salary Resolution to implement changes in the Community Services Department, County Administrator's Office and Health & Human Services Agency; and
     
  2. Approve an accelerated vacation accrual rate in the amount of 4.62 hours per biweekly pay period (120 hours per year) for Personnel Assistant, Monica Moreno-Edens, effective November 20, 2022.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

See Attachment A for changes to the Authorized Position and Salary Resolution.

From time to time, staff recommends Board approval of accelerated leave accruals for highly qualified individuals. Human Resources recommends approval of an accelerated vacation accrual in the amount of 4.62 hours per biweekly pay period (120 hours per year) for Monica Moreno-Edens, who is returning to the County as a Personnel Assistant for Health & Human Services Agency. Monica has over 8 years of experience working in human resources and payroll for the County of Yolo and will be an asset to her new team.
