Recommended Action

Approve the attached November 8, 2022, General Election Certificates of Facts, indicating the number of persons who filed a declaration of candidacy does not exceed the number of offices to be filled at the election for school district governing board members, water district directors and fire protection district commissioners.

A2. Appoint Melissa Moreno to the Yolo County Board of Education, Trustee Area 2.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

The Certificates of Facts include the results of the contests wherein the number of persons who filed a declaration of candidacy did not exceed the number of offices to be filled at the election. This recommended action completes the procedure for an appointment in-lieu of election due to insufficient nominees for the November 8, 2022, General Election.
