Reason for Recommended Action/Background
This agenda item aims to update Chapter 1 of Title 4 of the Yolo County Code regarding emergency services. The Yolo County Board of Supervisors reviewed this item for the first time on February 21, 2023 and continued it to March 7 for consideration for adoption. One public letter of support for the ordinance was received prior to consideration of this item on February 7. Staff recommend approval.
Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies)
County Counsel approved the ordinance as to form. Additionally, the updated ordinance was shared with various stakeholders, including cities, special districts, and private and public partners. Stakeholders were offered the opportunity to provide comments and none were received.
