Reason for Recommended Action/Background
In February 2023, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Gonzales Building Project Refresh, located at 25 N. Cottonwood Street, Woodland, was solicited by Yolo County General Services Department (GSD) in collaboration with Health and Human Services (HHSA). Three bids were received and when tallied, Pro-Ex Construction, was deemed the lowest bidder, having submitted a bid of $216,309. This bid includes cost for all labor, services, transportation, equipment, parts and supplies necessary for the refresh of the Bauer Building.
The total cost of this project was previously budgeted in HHSA's budget. Project is estimated to start by the end of June 2023 and conclude by the end of September 2023.
