Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The County and the Yolo County Farm Bureau share a common goal of promoting agriculture, including farmland conservation and a strong agricultural economy, while protecting natural resources within the County. The purpose of appointing Board liaisons to the Farm Bureau is to promote a strong relationship between the entities and facilitate the discussion of policy issues of mutual interest. Changes in the appointment of Board liaisons (i.e., rotating the assignment or other changes) will be considered as part of the annual appointment process.
