Approve and authorize the Chair to sign an agreement with Foundation of California Community Colleges in the amount of $226,548 for the period of Effective Date through December 31, 2026 for the provision of 2024-26 Student Training and Employment Program (STEP) project funding. Recommended Action
- Approve and authorize the Chair to sign an agreement with Foundation of California Community Colleges in the amount of $226,548 for the period of Effective Date through December 31, 2026 for the provision of 2024-26 Student Training and Employment Program (STEP) project funding;
- Authorize the Procurement Manager, or designee, to enter into any non-financial amendments and revisions to the agreement, upon approval as to form by County Counsel; and
- Authorize the Director of Health and Human Services Agency, or designee, to execute any fiscal and program forms and reports required under this Agreement, including forms and reports required under any extensions or amendments thereto.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
Yolo County Health and Human Services (HHSA) would like to enter into an agreement with the Foundation for California Community Colleges, through the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), to receive funding for the 2024-2026 Student Training and Employment Program (STEP) project. The STEP project will provide job preparation training, including job exploration, workplace readiness skills training, and work-based learning experiences to Students with Disabilities (SWD). Foundation for California Community Colleges shall manage STEP Funds and shall provide comprehensive human resources and payroll services through its Career Catalyst program to HHSA.
