Reason for Recommended Action/Background
According to Penal Code §933 and 933.05, the respondents named in a Grand Jury report are required to respond in writing to the Grand Jury's findings and recommendations. The 2023-2024 Grand Jury report, published on June 20, 2024, requested the Board of Supervisors to provide responses to its Findings and Recommendations regarding the Yolo County General Plan within 60 days. The attached documents represent the responses from the Yolo County Board of Supervisors and Department of Community Services.
Responses to the Findings and Recommendations for the remaining 2023-2024 Yolo County Grand Jury reports will be brought forth at a later Board meeting.
