Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency will receive a total of $10,468,641 from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) through the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Enhancing Detection Expansion allocation for the period March 1, 2021 through July 31, 2023.CDPH has approved utilizing some of this allocation to fund the purchase and installation of audiovisual equipment, which is a necessity for staff returning to the office and will accommodate staff that continues to work remotely. This equipment will improve teleconferencing, allowing staff working offsite to attend meetings with staff working on site. The Fiscal Year 2021-22 Equipment List will be amended as follows:
