Recommended Action
The Yolo County Board of Supervisors, acting in the capacity of the Dunnigan Fire Protection District governing board: approve the proposed budget amendment of the Dunnigan Fire Protection District for fiscal year 2020-21.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Yolo County Board of Supervisors appoints the Board of Commissioners for the Dunnigan Fire Protection District (which is a dependent fire district); however, the responsibility for the approval of the budget and budget amendments rests with the Board of Supervisors.
The Dunnigan Fire Commission requested a budget amendment (Attachment A) to amend its 2020-21 budget due to participation in fighting unprecendented wildfires and for funding the rebuild of a fire vehicle where costs were not known at the time of budget approval. The Board of Supervisors is requested to approve the amendment of the Dunnigan FPD budget.
