Reason for Recommended Action/Background
Elections Code sections 10401 et. seq. permit the Board of Supervisors to consolidate the elections of any legislative or congressional district, public district, city, county or other political subdivision called to be held on the same day with the regular statewide election.
The City of Davis has adopted a resolution calling for an election to be held on June 7, 2022. This entity has requested that the election be consolidated with the Statewide Direct Primary Election scheduled for June 7, 2022 to assist with cost savings and possible increased voter turnout.
