Recommended Action
Approve Amended and Restated Agreement No. 18-103 with Specialized Utility Services Program, Inc. for continued operation and maintenance services for the Wild Wings water and wastewater facilities, which extends the term of the Agreement through June 6, 2023, with the option to extend for one additional year, in an amount not to exceed $3,828,557.40 for the entire term of the Amended and Restated Agreement.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
On March 7, 2018, the County entered into a three-month agreement with Specialized Utility Services Program, Inc. (SUSP) for operation and maintenance services for the Wild Wings water and waste water facilities while a comprehensive bid process was conducted for long term operators (Agreement No. 7676-2018). SUSP was subsequently selected through a request for proposals (RFP) process, in accordance with Yolo County Procurement policy, to provide long-term operation and maintenance services for the the Wild Wings water and waste water facilities. The Board of Supervisors approved an agreement with SUSP on June 5, 2018 (Agreement No. 18-103) with two optional one-year extensions in an amount not to exceed $3,509,381. The current contract term is set to expire June 6, 2022. The amended and restated agreement will extend the term of the Agreement with SUSP an additional year through June 6, 2023 and with the option for an additional one year extension through June 6, 2024 in an amount not to exceed $3,828,557.40, which includes a maximum 2.5% CPI increase to SUSP's monthly fee if extended through June 6, 2024.
