Copy of a letter to Nancy Skinner, Chair of the Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Committee and Phil Ting, Chair of the Assembly Budget Committee expressing appreciation for the Governor’s proposal to provide $20.1 million General Fund to the California Department of Child Support Services for support of Local Child Support Agencies.   2. Copy of a letter to Senator Henry Stern, Chair of the Senate Committee in support of SB 1065 (Eggman), which would help keep waterways clean, safe, and address the harm that commercial abandoned and derelict vessels cause by creating a statewide program to fund the inventory, removal and destruction of these vessels as well as a Coordinating Council to provide program oversight and coordination of removal efforts.   3. Copy of a letter to Senators Skinner and Eggman and Assemblymembers Ting and Arambula in opposition to the Alternative Health Care Service Plan proposal. (CAO)

Copies of three letters to Susan Talamantes Eggman, Chair of the Senate Budget Subcommittee No. 3 and Dr. Joaquin Arambula, Chair of the Assembly Budget Subcommittee No. 1 requesting 1) support for a $60 million General Fund investment annually in the CalFresh program until the budget methodology for county administration is updated, 2) support for a proposal to invest in public schools of social worker to increase master’s level graduates and promote greater diversity for those graduating, and 3) support for a $159 million General Fund investment to provide funding and resources to bolster the ability of county human services departments to prepare for and respond to disasters.
