Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The County reached a tentative agreement with the Yolo County Attorneys Association and the resulting Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is included as Attachment A. The primary change in this three year agreement, which would expire June 30, 2025, is the implementation of the 100% of market compensation philosophy and the cost of living adjustment schedule. This agreement would provide:
- Equity adjustments to 95% of market as of July 2022
- 3% cost of living adjustment as of July 2022
- Equity adjustment to 100% of market as of January 2023
- 2% cost of living adjustment as of July 2023
- 3% cost of living adjustment as of July 2024
