Reason for Recommended Action/Background
Staff is recommending Board approval for select department closures during the upcoming holiday period, when service demands are reduced. Employees who choose to be off work during the office closure must use available leave balances to cover their time off.

Assessor-Clerk-Recorder-Elections
- Assessor's branch closed December 26, 2022 through January 2, 2023
- Clerk-Recorder branch closed at noon on both, Wednesday, November 23, 2022 and Friday, December 23, 2022
- Elections branch will only close on the official/observed holidays
Regional Child Support Services Agency - December 23, 2022
Community Services - December 26, 2022 through January 2, 2023
County Administrator - December 26, 2022 through January 2, 2023
County Counsel - December 26, 2022 through January 2, 2023
District Attorney - No closures except for official/observed holidays
