Reason for Recommended Action/Background
In 2006, and 2016, the Board of Supervisors adopted tobacco prevention policies including a tobacco retail licensing policy and a flavored tobacco ban policy designed to reduce youth uptake of tobacco products. Tobacco prevention staff have identified additional policies the Board can adopt that will provide further protection of youth and families living in MUH complexes.
