Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The County reached a tentative agreement with the Yolo County Correctional Officers Association and the resulting Memorandum of Understanding is included as Attachment A. This agreement, which would expire June 30, 2025, includes the implementation of the 100% of market compensation philosophy and realigns the term of the contract to match the County's fiscal year. This agreement would provide:
- Equity adjustments to 95% of market as of November 2022
- 3% cost of living adjustment as of November 2022
- Equity adjustment to 100% of market as of January 2023
- 2% cost of living adjustment as of July 2023
- 3% cost of living adjustment as of July 2024
