Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Wild Wings County Service Area (CSA) provides various public services to residents within the CSA, including recreation/golf course management of the publicly owned Wild Wings Golf Course. The Wild Wings Homeowners Association (HOA) offered to install and maintain up to five park benches along Wildwings Drive on County-owned land along the edge of the Wild Wings Golf Course. The HOA will be responsible for the costs related to the installation and maintenance/repair of the park benches pursuant to a five-year license agreement (Attachment A), with the option to extend the license for an additional five years through June 30, 2033. The location of the five benches are depicted on page 8 of Exhibit A, the license agreement.
The license agreement and proposed bench locations of the benches was reviewed with the Wild Wings CSA Advisory Committee at its meeting on June 7, 2023 and the Advisory Committee unanimously supported the license agreement.
