The Round 3 Grant is the third grant the County of Yolo would lead for the Delta Region. Additionally, the project includes training sessions and tabletop exercises to test these newly developed or updated plans. Finally, this grant includes the acquisition of floodfight supplies. The key goal of the multi-jurisdictional Delta-wide Regional Flood Response Project is to enhance and promote such a sustainable, regional response structure and partnership within the 5-county Delta region based on the findings from the 2022 Delta-wide Exercise and recent 2022/2023 Winter Storms.
