Reason for Recommended Action/Background
In 2007 Davis voters approved Measure P, which increased the amount of their parcel tax annually, as well as the assessment method. The proceeds of this parcel tax are to be used to pay for the cost of additional bonds issued for the purpose of expanding and renovating the Stephens-Davis Branch Library, as well as providing additional funds for library services. The attached resolution approves the Parcel Tax Rate for 2024-25 at the rates as specified in Measure P.

The County Administrator's Office, County Counsel, SCI Consulting Group, and the Library have been involved in developing the recommendations and Resolution before you today.
