Receive update on the Partnership/Dignity Negotiations Impact to the Medi-Cal Population.

Partnership HealthPlan provides managed care for Medi-Cal recipients in Yolo County. Partnership contracts with a variety of doctors, hospital systems, and healthcare providers to provide care for their members. There has been a long-standing contract between Partnership Health Plan and Common Spirit (Dignity Healthcare locally). The contract between Partnership and Common Spirit is up for renewal, effective April 1, 2024. Both parties have been in active negotiations for the past several months. These negotiations to date have not resulted in the issuance of a new contract. The current contract expired March 31, which means approximately 17,000 Yolo County Medi-Cal patients (and many others across California) will, within 30 days, most likely need to find new primary care provision. This item is informational only as it impacts Yolo County Medi-Cal recipients. This item is intended to brief the Board and the public on the development situation.
