Reason for Recommended Action/Background
On February 10, 2020, the County issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified firms to perform the monitoring and training for the Landfill and the Landfill borrow site. After careful review, the Board approved an agreement with ICF Jones & Stokes for biological and archaeological/paleontological services on June 23, 2020. The 2020 agreement had an initial term through May 31, 2023, with the option to extend for an additional two years, and a maximum compensation of $145,210. The County recently entered the final extension year (agreement expires May 31, 2025) and insufficient funds remain to cover necessary work through the term of this agreement. The increase of $79,790 will be sufficient to cover existing costs and necessary additional work in the area of archaeological surveys and documentation at the Landfill borrow site.
