Accept resignations, consider appointments and reappointments.

Recommended Action

A. Acknowledge and thank the following for their service:
  1. Laurence "Larry" Dean from the Davis Cemetery District. (Term expired 1/4/25)
  2. Patricia Harrison from the Esparto General Plan Citizens’ Advisory Committee. (Term expired 1/31/25)
  3. Erik Vink from the Yolo County Flood Control & Water Conservation District. (Term expired 12/15/24)
B. Remove the following:
  1. Norma Alcala from the Yolo County Housing Commission. (change in reps)
C. Accept the following resignations:
  1. Sara Gaines from the Local Mental Health Board.
D. Approve the following appointments:
  1. Ro Mottsmith to the Davis Cemetery District for a term ending January 1, 2029.
  2. Cecilia Maldonado to the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council representing District 5 for a term ending January 31, 2029.
  3. Bapu Vaitla to the Yolo County Housing Commission as the alternate City of Davis representative for a term ending October 31, 2028.
  4. Verna Sulpizio Hull to the Yolo County Housing Commission as the alternate City of West Sacramento representative for a term ending October 31, 2026.
E. Approve the following re-appointments:
  1. Carri Ziegler to the Health Council representing District 3 for a term ending January 31, 2027.
  2. Dao Choi and Stewart Thompson to the South Davis General Plan Citizen’s Advisory Committee for terms ending January 31, 2027.
  3. Giacomo Moris, Randall Jacobs, and Sandie Reed to the Esparto General Plan Citizen’s Advisory Committee for terms ending January 31, 2027.
  4. John Hulsman Jr. to the Esparto General Plan Citizen’s Advisory Committee for a term ending January 31, 2026.
  5. Elaine Roberts Musser to the Yolo County Commission on Aging and Adult Services representing District 4 for a term ending January 30, 2027.
  6. Mark Mezger, Sr., Mary Schlosser and Steve Weiss to the Mary’s Cemetery District for terms ending January 1, 2029.
  7. Joseph Gomes to the Clarksburg Fire Protection District for a term ending February 1, 2029.
  8. John R. Webber and Nancy Kirchhoff to the Clarksburg Fire Protection District for terms ending March 1, 2029.
