Recommended Action
- Adopt resolution to accept funding from the Secretary of State in the amount of $15,789 in Help America Vote Act (HAVA) Federal funds; and
- Approve agreement with the State of California, Department of General Services for activities to improve the administration of elections for Federal office, which includes enhancing election technology and improving election security.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
Federal support for Cybersecurity and Infrastructure is in transition. These funds will be used to increase physical security of our election space and our data operations.
Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies)
The ACE Department worked with the Secretary of State's office and County Counsel in preparing this agenda item. The Revenue and Expense for this grant has already been included in the 2025-26 Recommended Budget.
